Ross's fundraiser for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

Ross Coan is raising money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably)

West highland way · 26 July 2026

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

In late July, we will be taking on the challenge of walking the West Highland Way, covering 96 miles from Milngavie to Fort William

Participants: Ross Coan, Ewan McLean, Ryan Robertson, Elliot Gair

We’re doing this to raise money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), a charity dedicated to preventing suicide and helping people struggling with their mental health. Every day, too many people face challenges that can feel overwhelming, and CALM provides life-saving support, advice, and resources to those who need it most.

The West Highland Way will be physically demanding, with long days of walking, carrying gear, and dealing with unpredictable weather. But those challenges are small compared to the struggles many people face every day.

Any donation, no matter how small, would be hugely appreciated and will help CALM continue their important work supporting people in crisis and promoting better mental health.

Thank you for your support.

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We’ve got loads of tools and resources to help people find the support they need, including a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.

£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
