One in three people in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. It devastates lives and, at Alzheimer’s Society, they are changing that. My Gran was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2021. In 2024 she moved into a care home closer to me and my Dad, so she can receive the best care and we can see her as much as possible!

Luckily (or unluckily), I got my place in this years marathon through the ballot, which means I don't have a minimum amount I need to raise so anything you can donate, even £1 would be amazing and go to a great cause!
