Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April I will be running the London Marathon to help raise money for Steps Charity Worldwide (https://www.stepsworldwide.org/)
My daughter, Winnie, was born with hip dysplasia (developmental dysplasia of the hip) which occurs in just 1.2 out of every 1000 births in the UK. Hip dysplasia covers a range of hip abnormalities and Winnie was placed in a Pavlik Harness (as seen in the pictures above!) For over 23 hours a day for just over 3 months to correct this.
Steps is the leading charity working for all those whose lives are affected by childhood lower limb conditions. Everything they do is about valuing and supporting individuals, families and carers affected by conditions which have an impact on the legs, hips or feet.
They are the only charity which supports the most common and much rarer lower limb conditions.
Plese help me raise £2,500 to support Steps in their mission to provide help and assistance to families just like mine through difficult times with their children.
Thank you - Ross
