Story

This year 3/4 of our family will be taking part in the biggest challenge yet! Trying to get mum over the line of the London Marathon. This will be a first marathon for all of us, and we’re running not just for the challenge but for an incredible cause—supporting children with cancer.

We’re raising funds for Children with Cancer. It is an organisation dedicated to providing life-saving treatments, emotional support, and hope to children and families affected by cancer. The courage and strength these young fighters show every day inspire us to take on this challenge.

Every step we take, from training to race day, is fueled by the knowledge that we’re making a difference. Your support means everything to us—and to the kids and families who rely on Children with Cancer. Please consider donating to help us reach our goal.

In support of our nominated charity 'Children with Cancer UK' and to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of SQEP, the SQEP10 Challenge 'Global Edition' was born.

This challenge will see team SQEP travel a distance of over 40,000km to simulate a complete revolution around the world.

But there is a twist! The last 500km will be completed by a contingent of SQEP that are participating in the London Marathon. If team SQEP do not cover the required distance in advance of the marathon, then the whole challenge fails. If the marathon runners do not complete the distance on the 27th April 2025, then the whole challenge fails. This is unquestionably a case of all for one and one for all!
