Leukaemia Care provides vital support, information and advice to anyone whose life has been affected by a blood cancer. We not only support patients, but carers and families too whose lives are impacted when someone they know and loves receives a diagnosis.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Both Kirsteen and I are taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk on 28 April to raise funds for Leukaemia Care. A charity close to my heart.

In Nov 1986 aged 20 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Following intensive treatment, I had a Stem Cell Transplant in March 1987.

Thanks to this & amazing medical teams, I am here today to pester friends & family for help to raise funds for my favourite charity Leukaemia Care.

The Glasgow Kiltwalk is on 28 April when both Kirsteen & myself will be tackling the 'Big Stroll' - 14miles starting in Clydebank & finishing in Loch Lomond.

I know money is scarce at the moment and times are hard, but this makes it all the more difficult for patients and their families to cope with a diagnosis such as leukaemia.

So please - if you can - help us raise some money and we will do the walking.
