Running 50 Miles for Beatson Cancer Charity – In Honour of My Dad
Cancer is one of the toughest battles anyone can face, and my dad is living proof of what it means to fight with courage. No matter how hard the days get, he keeps pushing forward, staying strong for everyone around him. He has always been an inspiration to me and so many others with the positive attitude and never slowing down.
On 2nd of august 2025, I’ll be running 50 miles from Edinburgh to Glasgow to raise money for Beatson Cancer Charity. This incredible organisation provides life-changing care and support to cancer patients and their families, helping them through some of the hardest times of their lives.
Why This Matters
Cancer affects so many of us. Whether it’s a family member, a friend, or even yourself, it’s a battle that no one should have to fight alone. The Beatson is there for those in need, providing vital treatment, emotional support, and groundbreaking research that makes a real difference. Every pound raised will go directly towards helping them continue their amazing work.
How You Can Help
I know times are tough, but even the smallest donation can go a long way in supporting those facing cancer. If you can, please consider donating—whether it’s £1, £10, or more, every little bit counts. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page will help just as much by spreading awareness.
This run isn’t just about the distance—it’s about standing up to cancer, showing support for my dad, and helping others who are facing the same fight. Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and support. Let’s do this together.
