Fundraising

Space Youth Project was started in 2002 by lesbian, gay, bi, trans and questioning (LGBT+) young people for LGBT+ young people and has continued to address their needs safely and without judgement ever since in whatever ways they identify - helping them achieve happy and fulfilled lives.

Story

At Rossi’s, supporting the LGBT+ community is really close to our hearts. So in honour of Pride Month we would like to raise some money for a local charity here is Dorset.

We have selected the Space Youth Project as our chosen charity as we believe the work that they do with LGBT+ youth is really important and deserving.

Space Youth Project:

Welcoming all young gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBT+) people up to age 25 across Dorset since 2001!

We aim to support young people who are or may be LGBT+ and empower them have positive self-esteem,to know they are supported, to have a sense of community and to overcome issues caused or intensified by prejudice in order to facilitate freedom of expression.

Space Youth Project uses 'trans' as an umbrella term for those who are transgender, non-binary, genderqueer, genderfluid, agender, are of non-Western gender identities and those who have a trans history.
