The Journey into The Unknown

I am raising to help aid the Meningitis Research Foundation to help combat Meningitis and Septicemia globally and by raising money plan to defeat it by 2030!

On the 22nd of August 2023, I will also be tackling the highest free-standing mountain in the world and the tallest mountain in Africa with the Choose a Challenge organization along with other University students. As part of the 7 summits, Uhuru Peak stands at a whopping 19340ft (5895m)!

Not only is this one of my personal dreams it is also for a great cause and an amazing way to spread awareness of Meningitis!

Meningitis affects more than 5 million people per year!

Meningitis and newborn sepsis are responsible for more deaths than Malaria, Measles, Tetanus, and AIDs in children under 5 combined!

As a foundation, "the Meningitis Research Foundation is at the heart of the initiative that is working with the World Health Organisation and leading experts on the disease to tackle meningitis globally. Our intrepid volunteers are taking on this incredible challenge and raising money to help us defeat meningitis and septicemia by 2030."

So that's why I need your help during this journey! Any support/donation would be greatly appreciated and please spread the word to your friends and family! I will also be running fundraisers throughout the year while also tracking my training to get into 'peak' fitness for reaching that summit!

And if you're interested I will also be filming my journey throughout the year of reaching this goal and also the trek itself to the best of my ability!
