Story

On April 21st 2024 I will be running the London Marathon for The Dream Factory. An amazing charity based in the UK who, via their incredible team, aim to grant dreams/wishes to children and young adults with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and/or severe disabilities.

Those of you that know me know that I am certainly not built for long distance.... or medium..... or short.... so this will put me about as far out of my comfort zone as I can imagine! When my training started in October, it was simply a case of wanting to get myself from point A to point B on the day. As time has gone on, my competitive instincts have kicked in and I am now eyeing up Kipchoge's London Marathon record time of 2:02:37..... hopefully I'll be two or three miles down the road by that time anyway!

Any donation, no matter how big or how small, will not only be hugely appreciated by myself but much more importantly, will make an enormous difference to the lives of the young adults and children that The Dream Factory supports. The charity itself is incredible and the people that help run it on a daily basis are even more so. Anything you can give will make a huge difference and I promise to haul myself over that finish line come what may!!
