On 6th January my family's life changed forever. My dad was involved in a serious car accident resulting in spinal surgery which was successful. However the accident has left him with a T11 incomplete spinal cord injury meaning he will need a wheelchair the rest of his life.

My dad has been in 3 different hospitals for treatment and rehabilitation of the injury. Dad has been a nurse for over 30 years and now he is the one on the receiving end of care. I am thankful nothing has effective him in being the dad and grandad he has always been.

So to say thank you for the support and care he has give each day in May I will be walking at least one mile then as the saying goes lets go big or go home on June 1st I will hike up Mount Snowdon.
