Story

JOIN OUR WALK AT TEMPLE NEWSAM PARK, LEEDS, ON 31st AUGUST 2025

Join the five Leeds Rotary Clubs in the beautiful grounds of Temple Newsam Park to raise funds for Alzheimer's Research UK. Our first walk for this charity in 2024 raised £13,000 and together we're aiming to beat that target this year!

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the charity leading the search for a cure for this terrible disease, and they won’t stop until everyone is free from the heartbreak of dementia.Every £20 donation funds an hour of research locally, so we're proud to take on this challenge and fundraise together for Alzheimer's Research UK.

We'll meet at Temple Newsam at midday on 31st August for a 12.30pm start. The walk is an accessible 5km route around the Temple Newsam grounds, with a shorter option for anyone who needs it. The route is designed to be inclusive and everyone is welcome to join in. Dogs are welcome, as long as they are on short leads and they (and their owners) behave!

Every pre-registered walker will receive a t-shirt and a medal for completing the challenge so please make sure you sign up by 8th August.
