Rough Road Runners is a community born from a simple belief: difficult roads are easier when travelled together. Inspired by our colleague John Reilly's openness in sharing the rough road ahead of him, we're coming together as Investec citizens to do what we do best — show up for each other.

This is our inaugural charity event, and it's all for John. We're tackling a chilled half marathon — and "chilled" is the operative word. Run it, jog it, walk a stretch, cycle alongside, or hop in the support car for the next stop. Every pace is the right pace.

We are raising money for Maggie’s because of the incredible support they provide to people living with cancer, as well as their families and friends. Maggie’s offers a safe and welcoming space where people can find practical advice, emotional support, and comfort during some of life’s toughest moments. Every donation helps Maggie’s continue providing free support to those who need it most, ensuring nobody has to face cancer alone.

This isn't about race times. It's about turning up for a teammate, side by side, and reminding each other that no road has to be walked alone.
