We help children during a parents cancer to support their emotional wellbeing

Story

The Rowlinsons Team are embarking on their first challenge of the year in aid of their newly chosen Charity Partner, The Osbourne Trust.

At 2am on Saturday 29th July, 18 members of Rowlinsons will set off to climb up Snowdon, Wales’ highest peak in the Snowdonia Mountains. Not only will they be doing this after a full day’s work, they will be setting off from the foot of the mountain in the middle of the night in very unpredictable weather!

The team will work together to climb 3,560ft to the top of Snowdon in the dark with high hopes that they will catch a beautiful sunrise but more importantly to raise as much money as possible for The Osbourne Trust.

The Team is made up of legal professionals, not mountaineers, so taking on the challenge in the middle of the night will be no easy feat for the Team. Everyone taking part has the same goal in mind, to raise as much money as possible for those who face tremendous challenges daily, like the children supported by The Osbourne Trust.

The Osborne Trust is the only national charity dedicated to supporting the children of a parent going through a cancer diagnosis, cancer treatment, death of a parent and beyond. For these children, the charity provides the opportunity to bring some normality back into their lives and respite from what they see when Mum or Dad is undergoing cancer treatment.

From everyone taking part and from everyone here at Rowlinsons, we are grateful for any donation you are able to make to support such a worthy Charity Partner.

No matter how big or small, the money makes a big difference in providing the support for those children facing daily struggles that no one would wish to face.
