Story

This year, to mark our 15th wedding anniversary, we're doing something a little different (and slightly mad): we're taking on the Weekend Warrior Challenge at Blenheim Palace – to see who can do the most triathlons as possible over 2 days. Yes, really!!

We’ve always been a bit competitive with each other (I call it “healthy rivalry” – Luke calls it trying to beat me at everything). From running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on our first wedding anniversary, raising money for Action for Kids, to now taking on triathlons back-to-back, we love a challenge. Our training styles, however, are… very different. I play hockey and stay pretty active. Luke? Well, he’s more into the carb-loading and “tapering” phases of training. But with just 4 weeks to go, he's finally kicked off his training – with a heroic Parkrun.

This year, we'll be raising money for the Cancer Awareness Trust, a fantastic global charity that’s creating life-saving resources and support through its Cancer Platform and other vital initiatives. Why? Because cancer has touched both our lives in very personal ways. Luke through his work with Sir Chris and the team building Ellipses Pharma, and I lost my aunt, Wendy, far too young. You can find out more about the charity at: cancerawarenesstrust.com.

We’d love your support as we swim, cycle, and run our hearts out (several times over) to raise money for this important cause. Every donation, big or small, will go towards helping more people around the world navigate cancer with better information, care, and hope.

Thank you so much for backing us!

Luke & Rox
