Story

Dear supporter

After the success of our latest challenge

“The Grand March”.

We are back again with another extra special challenge for our friends the Midland Freewheelers.

The OAKERS relay day is a very important day in our calendar. This is where our community come together and become one to have a amazing day.

Our goal is to make all customers feel part of the challenge and feel they have made a difference

and last year we found the solution with a relay day.

so here is the our day laid out in front of you to see why we include everyone in our community

At 9am on Saturday our motor cycle group will embark on a 100 mile ride out from the oak.

Then at 10 am our cycling club will leave the oak and ride a 20 mile in and around the surrounding area .

11 am two groups of walkers will go off on 2 different walks depending on ability (an easy 5 mile stroll and a more challenging 11 mile for the more experienced walker ).

Meanwhile our two sports teams will run a ten team charity netball tournament and

eight team football charity cup.

All this will be done by the time our running group take on a 5k starting and finishing at the Oak.

which means by 5pm all the groups we support will back at the oak for a party and celebrate an end to another great challenge
