As a community Palestine is close to our hearts right now; as the numbers rise each day and over 6000 children have been brutally murdered we have witnessed a crisis beyond what any of us has ever seen.

As passionate parents we have put forward fundraising ideas and charities to the school and we haven't been able to create an event for Palestine which we should.

With this is mind, this Jummah I want to call on our Muslim 'ethos' to fundraise this Friday for our brothers and sisters suffering in Palestine. As Muslims we respect ALL faiths, viewpoints and perspectives but it's been disappointing that unfortunately our requests haven't been heard or empathised with.

As a community let's come together this Friday, show solidarity and raise money for the RIGHT cause! Let's make this a powerful statement that THIS is what WE care about right now and these are the people who NEED us to speak for them at this time!

As a positive notion this Friday, send your kids to school as you wish, but let's be united and raise funds this Jummah!
