The North West Air Ambulance Charity receive no government or NHS funding, relying solely on incredible donations such as yours to continue flying to save lives. In May 2024 alone, the North West Air Ambulance Charity attended 26 incidents in Cumbria in which the crew provided lifesaving treatment at the roadside. That’s nearly a call out every day where their services were needed to perform surgical interventions, life and limb saving procedures, blood transfusions, ventilation of patients, or even administering specialist drugs to increase the chance of survival.
