The Mamie Martin Fund (MMF) supports girls' secondary education in North Malawi. We want to help while doing this mad cycle ride.

We started our trip on the 11th of May 2026 and have cycled through 15 countries, cycled over 3500km and climbed 22400m so far with more to come. We set off on this adventure as we both wanted to see the world in a different way. Neither of us were big cyclists before the trip and when we started Ella’s biggest ride was 70km and mine was 85km. Throughout the trip there have been quite a few tough times. However we remind ourselves that we have chosen to put ourselves in this hard situation whereas a lot of people do not get a choice about the situation they are in, which we find very motivational to push through the tough times.
