Ruairidh's fundraiser for Club Peloton

I love cycling and Italy. Riding with the my Club Peloton friends is always a treat. So, although riding my bike from Rimini to Rome over some massive hills will be a big challenge, that isn't a reason to ask for your support. But it is a great way to get your attention and ask for sponsorship for three charities!
The work Club Peloton does is fantastic, bringing people from across the property sector to raise money to help transform the lives of young people. Since 2006, it has given over £5 million in grants to projects that make a real difference.
This year, we are looking to raise £40,000 from this ride for Cyclists Fighting Cancer. This will enabling them to build activity zones at four children’s oncology centres throughout the UK, providing junior exercise equipment including recumbent and upright exercise bikes, star walkers, and elliptical trainers.
Providing these activity zones ensures that young people are able to maintain a good level of activity at all stages of their cancer journey and beyond and has a huge positive impact on their physical, mental and social wellbeing.
We all know people who have had to face up to the existential challenge of a cancer diagnosis. We have friends and colleagues who are dealing with it right now, and who show a strength and fortitude that is humbling to witness. I cannot imagine how children, young adults and their families facing into the same challenge are able to find the reserves. But they do and as much as any of us are able, we should try and help in whatever way we can.
Donating to this fundraiser is an easy way to give something back to a very good cause.
Thank you for your kind and generous support.
