Elías and Rubén’s fundraiser for Little Princess Trust

Monique Noel-Allen is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Hair Cut

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Rubén and Elias’ grandparents are of Caribbean heritage and following tradition, a baby’s hair is cut for the first time after their 2nd birthday - due to lockdown it wasn’t possible to get Elias’ hair cut with our family barber.

So as a family we decided to continue to let his hair grow, then once his hair was long enough to donate and most importantly he understood what was happening. He would donate to the Little Princess Trust.

Once we explained our idea to Ruben, he decided to support his little brother by growing his hair too.

So they will both be getting their hair cut and donating it at the same time.

We believe every child should have the opportunity to wear hair in whatever shape or form that resembles their own.

Why the Little Princess Trust?

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer and other hair conditions each year.

We understand times are hard at the moment, but we would be grateful for any donation big or small to see the boys meet their goal.

Thank you,

The Allens x
