Staff from Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are appealing for funds to support the refurbishment of the Muslim prayer facilities at Leeds General Infirmary including new carpets, painting and decorating, shelving, seating and to create dedicated ablution facilities.

The prayer facilities are used by staff, patients and families/visitors. The current spaces are not especially inviting or cater for a comfortable prayer experience. The refurbishment would have an immeasurable impact on the space users for whom prayer is a core feature of daily life. The positive impact on wellbeing will be significant.
