Mission Fundraiser for CDG UK

Genny Wilkinson is raising money for CDG UK
In memory of Ruby Daniel-McCann

Vinyasa Yoga and Sound Healing · 15 May 2026

Congential Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) is an umbrella term for a very rare group of diseases that causes severe disability. There is no known treatment or cure. As the disease is so rare, there are very few children in the UK affected. CDG UK provides a support network and a patient voice.

Story

Join Elle Daniel for a special workshop in support of CDG UK on May 16 at 18:00 - 20:00 at Mission, 7-9 Fashion Street, London E1 6PX.

In January, Elle lost her daughter Ruby to Congenital Disorder of Glycosylation (CDG), a rare disease affecting children around the world. This workshop takes place on the eve of CDG Awareness Day — a moment to raise both awareness and funds in support of families navigating these conditions, and the research working towards better treatments.

Elle will guide a strong, steady, philosophy-led vinyasa practice, open to all levels, bodies and abilities. The session will close with sound healing from Sonal Thakrar.

The workshop is free to attend. If you’re able, we invite you to donate to CDG UK via the JustGiving page -- whether or not you join us in person.
