At the end of November 2024, Batheaston Church School was flooded with sewage laced water. Whilst the school worked quickly to ensure the main body of the school was cleaned and back open for learning, Cherry Class (year 1) lost all of their outside play equipment due to sewage contamination.

Cherry Class miss being able to use their outside area and are raising funds to replace this essential equipment. In the long-term they would also love to be able to look into flood defences to stop this happening again.

The Cherry Class children are planning on walking, dancing and litter picking their way through February Half Term.
