Story
I'm Running the Great North Run for Middlesbrough FC Foundation – A Cause Close to My Heart
This challenge is more than just 13.1 miles for me—it’s about making a real difference for a charity I’ve seen change lives first hand.
Having worked for Middlesbrough FC Foundation, I know how much their work means to our community. Amongst so many other things they provide mental health support for those struggling, offer pathways into education and employment, create inclusive sports opportunities for people with disabilities, and run programs that tackle social isolation. They help families through tough times, and ensure the most vulnerable aren’t forgotten. For so many, the Foundation isn’t just a charity—it’s a lifeline and a vital resource for the people of Tees Valley.

Why This Matters
I’ve met people whose lives have been transformed by the Foundation. I’ve seen children grow in confidence, adults find purpose, and families given hope when they needed it most.
