The Rucksack Project Barnsley has been running for over 10 years, providing a winter handout of food, clothing, sleeping bags and more to those who have found themselves homeless or are at real risk of becoming homeless.

Beyond donations of physical items were also always very grateful for any monetary donations we receive - whether big or small - every single penny counts.

I’m a big believer in if people come together and do a little bit each, together we can do amazing things - we can move mountains. This project has been testament to that year after year. We do of course have some incredible and overwhelming single acts of generosity, but it’s that total sum of lots of people doing a little which propels the project to amazing results.

All funds raised will directly go to support local homeless charity the BCDP towards their excellent work - from purchasing food and other much needed items, to any other costs that keep them operating night in, night out.

I more than appreciate ghaf it’s another tough Christmas for many this year, with household bills once again putting the squeeze on many of us, but if you are able to spare just £2 it would do such a lot of good for those that have little to nothing.
