Story
On 22nd March, Hannah, Alison and Sarah will travel to Uganda to visit Bunamutoro Primary School on Mount Elgon - a school serving 220 incredible children from our coffee-growing communities.
We’ve recently partnered with the school and want to gift every child with their own rucksack, filled with essential stationery to support their learning.
Back in Entebbe, we’ll also be gifting rucksacks to the new intake of Kindergarten children, building on the momentum of last year’s campaign.
A rucksack may seem simple, but for a child walking to school each day, it’s something they carry with pride. It holds their books, their pencils, and the belief that their education matters. It’s a practical gift - but it’s also a powerful message: we believe in your future.
Each rucksack costs just £5, and our goal is to fund 250.
Even more special, the bags will be handmade in Uganda by local women - supporting small businesses while uplifting the children at the same time.
While we’re there, we’ll spend time with the children, listen to their dreams, and see firsthand how a small, thoughtful gift can make a big difference.
If you’d like to be part of this journey, we’d love your support.
One rucksack. One child. One future.
Together, we can help carry their dreams forward.
