Story
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance brings an advanced critical care team of Dr's, paramedics and pilots to people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight when they need it most.
On Sunday, May 4th we were those people. Our son, Rufus, was hit by a reversing car in a tragic accident. Jamie and his team arrived within 15 minutes of making the 999 call. They did everything they could but sadly Rufus died on impact.
It currently costs in excess of £17,750 a day to maintain this vital service, and it is only thanks to the generosity of the communities that they serve that they are able to keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives.
