I'm running the Bijlmer Half Marathon in Amsterdam to raise money for a charity called Long Covid Support.

I've personally seen how Long Covid can affect even the healthiest people. My partner Sarah has gone from commuting an hour on a bike, walking miles every day and doing tons of stuff with our kids, to someone who very much needs to ration their energy on a day to day basis.

It's a weird condition where one day she can look and be completely like the old Sarah and on another day really struggle to move beyond the house.

Long Covid Support are a brilliant organisation who provide peer support to over 65,000 people with Long Covid across the world and are working in advocacy and research so that everyone affected by Long Covid has access to appropriate treatment and support.
