As chosen by our subreddit members, our 2025 Christmas fundraiser will be supporting Air Ambulances UK, the organisation that champions the 21 local air ambulance charities providing life-saving critical care across the country. These services:

- Bring advanced emergency treatment directly to patients in life-threatening situations,

- Operate both by helicopter and rapid response vehicle, and

- Rely almost entirely on public donations to keep crews flying and delivering hospital-level care when every second counts.

We’re also thrilled to share that Reddit Community Fund is supporting our fundraiser again this year by matching your donations up to $10,000 (~£7,600).

We’re hosting the fundraiser through JustGiving for several reasons:

- Transparency - we never handle any money

- GiftAid - this is all handled for us, so we don't get bog down too much by the new tax rules...

- Tracking impact: JustGiving lets everyone see how much we’ve raised and the difference the community is making.

- Anonymity: You can donate anonymously if you prefer. If you include your name or Reddit username, it’ll appear publicly on JustGiving — but neither we nor Reddit will use that information for anything else.

- Requirements: For Reddit to match donations, the fundraiser has to be fully transparent and run through an approved charity platform.
