My very good friend and mentor, Dean, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) in August 2023. Over the following months, this cruel disease took everything from him - his ability to speak, to walk, to eat, and eventually, his life in December 2024.

Through it all, Dean never lost his spirit. It was his wish that his name might live on by helping others facing this horrendous illness. So I will run - for them, and for him.
