In May 2025, we (Sam & Mack) will be running the Great Manchester Run in memory of our dearest Erik, who we tragically lost this past October.

Erik wasn’t just our friend—he was our family, our brother, and the “crazy Uncle” and Godfather to our little Teddy. He brought a sense of spontaneity, humour, and chaos everywhere he went (we lovingly referred to his antics as the “Erik tax” - if you know, you know!). He had the best stories and the biggest heart, and we will miss him to no end.

To honour Erik, we’re raising money for ANDYSMANCLUB, a charity working to break the stigma around men’s mental health. They provide free, confidential peer-to-peer support groups for men aged 18 and over, creating a safe space for those navigating life’s storms.

We’re running for our Erik, and for every “Erik” out there who is suffering in silence. Every step we take is for those who might feel they have no one to turn to, and every penny raised is a step closer to ensuring no one has to face those feelings alone.
