I will be running the Toronto Waterfront Half Marathon on October 15th 2023 in memory of my partner’s late mother, Judy Antoniadis.

Judy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in 2016 and was delivered exceptional care through the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre at Southlake. Judy and her family were humbled and impressed by the quality of care she was given during her time at Southlake, and the extraordinary staff who offered her comfort and support in her final years. After fighting a six-year-long battle, Judy passed away in the summer of 2022. It was one of her final wishes that we continue to support Southlake and the incredible staff who fought alongside her.

In tribute, we started the Run for Judy as a fundraising effort to support the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre. With an unbelievable amount of support, we were successful in raising over $6000 just last year. The response we received to our tribute to Judy was so much more than we could have ever hoped for and we are excited to return this year with excitement and gratitude.

All fundraising proceeds will be directed to the Stronach Regional Cancer Centre, in Judy's name, to show the continued appreciation she and her family hold for the facility and all those that dedicate so much of themselves to making it a place of comfort and respite.
