This year i'm taking on the challenge of running a half marathon (or longer) every month. To show that things don't always go smoothly I missed the January half due to being ill so i'll have to finish the 12 half marathon's in January 27!

So far i've completed:

The Love Run Pengethley 15.5 miles (14th Feb 26)

Round the Lakes 18.6 miles (7th March 26)

Shakespeare Half Marathon (26th April 26)

Hereford Half Marathon (10th May 26)

Swansea Half Marathon (7th June 26) (New PB 1:42:02)

Wye Valley Tunnel Half Marathon (19th July 26)

The reason for running for Hope Rescue is because just over two years ago we visted Hope rescue to find a companion for Bear and met Pablo a 4 month old Fox Red Lab. Since then he's challenged us in so many ways but still continued to bring his version of joy to the household.

Pablo has struggled meeting new people following his rough start but the one thing he loves more than anything else is getting out with the local running clubs & groups, it's certainly his happy place.

Hope Rescue is a charity that saves the lives of stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs who, through no fault of their own, desperately need a second chance. Without Hope Rescue stepping in, dogs like Pablo may never get the opportunity to find a safe, loving forever home.
