Story

Thanks for dropping by!

The Mary Dolly Foundation are a tiny charity with a big reach. They provide vital counselling, therapeutic and wellbeing services to those who need it when they need it. Demand for support is higher than ever and funding is already in short supply and getting increasingly competitive all the time.

I am hurtling towards 40 and do not run, every. The whole thought of going for a run makes me want to lie down. Yet, for some unfathomable reason, the other day I bought a ticket to a festival based around running. Not sure if I was temporarily possessed by an alien entity or if this is the behaviour I should expect entering midlife, but I guess I have to learn to run now.

I'll be documenting the highs, the lows, the trials, the tribulations and inevitable crying and chaos on our Instagram feed @marydollyorg. Please, if you can, give me a sponsor.

Right now I can't (and definitely wouldn't) run for a train, but next July I'll need to be able to run for a whole weekend. On trails. And also enjoy other activities and parties! I expect it's going to be hard.
