Story
The Children’s Bereavement Centre does incredible work, providing vital support to children, young people and families as they navigate grief and loss. Their compassion, care and expertise make an immeasurable difference during some of life’s toughest moments.
To help support this amazing charity, I’ve somehow agreed to run a half marathon. Now, if you know me, you’ll know I’m definitely not a natural runner. In fact, there’s a very good chance I’ll spend the next few months complaining… a lot. Expect regular updates about sore legs, aching knees, questionable life choices and just how unfair hills are…But if getting hot, gross, sweaty and slightly miserable for a couple of hours helps raise money for such an important cause, then it’ll all be worth it.
Every donation, big or small, will help the Children’s Bereavement Centre continue to provide life-changing support to children and families when they need it most.
Thank you for supporting me (and for putting up with all the inevitable running complaints along the way!). Every mile will be powered by your generosity—and probably a fair amount of stubbornness
