Story
Tony and Oli are taking on the Chester Metric Marathon this October (26.2km) to raise money for Strongmen UK, a charity that supports men facing bereavement, grief, and significant life challenges.
Their work focuses on creating spaces where men can talk openly, connect with others who understand, and find practical and emotional support during difficult times.
This cause is very close to our hearts. Eighteen months ago, Oli and his wife Vic lost their son, Benjamin, to stillbirth. It’s an experience that no family should have to face, and one that has shaped why this challenge means so much to us. Now, the two of us—Oli and Tony—are running this race not just as a physical test, but as a way to give something back and help raise awareness of the support that Strongmen UK provides.
We want to help ensure that other men going through loss know they are not alone and can access support when they need it. Any donation, no matter the size, will help Strongmen UK continue their work and reach more people who are struggling.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can give.
