Story
On 4th October, I will be taking on the huge challenge of running the Cardiff Half Marathon in aid of Marie Curie. All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

I’m running this is memory of my dad Colin who passed from pancreatic cancer in August of 2025 after a short battle with this horrible disease. He spent the last of his days in Penarth hospice and the care he had was exemplary and the staff not only held my dad in his last days and hours but held us as a family and it is something I will be forever grateful for.
£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of their hospices.
£26 helps fund an hour of bereavement support by phone or webchat.
£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home.
Thank you so much for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
