In memory of the one and only Esther Waters, who we lost on Sunday 13th July 2025, a group of us are running the 2026 adidas Manchester Marathon in her memory.

Thanks to the incredible staff and care she received at The Christie, Esther/Mum and ourselves had two fantastic and fun-filled years after her initial diagnosis. Although she sadly passed away due to complications not directly related to her illness, we wanted to raise vital funds for the tremendous work that The Christie do in order to support other cancer patients and their families.
