Story
When I found out I was going to be a dad, I set myself the challenge of running 105km — to get uncomfortable, to push my limits, and to prove I could dig deep.
But this run is bigger than me. It’s an opportunity to raise awareness and start conversations. My child will grow up without a grandfather — we lost him to melanoma, a cancer that can sometimes strike even when you do everything “right.”
While simple choices like getting checked, wearing zinc, covering up, and wearing a hat can make a difference, melanoma isn’t always predictable — and that unpredictability is exactly why awareness and vigilance matter.
I am raising money for Melanoma Patients Australia - creating a world where no one affected by melanoma walks alone.
