Hello! I am taking part in a 10k run in October as part of the Run Bournemouth event.

I’m doing this to raise money for The Healthbus Trust. They do fantastic and invaluable work, providing healthcare to the rough sleepers in BCP area. They survive solely on fundraising so I want to do what I can.

I’ve not ran in a very long time due to illness and injury. Please donate what you can and give us a much needed boost to get us through it!

UPDATE [21/08/25]: Unfortunately, my calf keeps getting injured and I’ve been told by physio that I really should not be running. So I will be walking it instead :(

UPDATE [11/06/25]: Post-work run at Whitecliffe Park. Beautiful weather for it. Got stitch 3k in but ran through it, which is a first for me.

UPDATE [09/06/25]: Beach run post work with colleages. Felt great although the second half running into the wind was absolute hell.

UPDATE [29.04.25]: I've begun training on a treadmill in the gym, around 4k at a time, with walking intervals. I joined some colleagues on a small jog along the beachfront this week too. Really enjoying it so far!

UPDATE [19.04.25]: First run since my having a chest infection, which floored me. Difficult but managed just over 4k. On the beach in the blaring sun.
