Run For Your Life: In memory of Harvey Western

Robbie Neilson, Jan Witte, Alex Johnston and Harris Macleod is raising money for Aberdeen Samaritans
In memory of Harvey Western

Group run · 24 May 2025

We’re here for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. In prisons, schools, hospitals and on the rail network, Samaritans are working with people who are going through a difficult time. Samaritans’ vision is that fewer people die by suicide.

Story

In memory of our dear friend, we are fundraising for Samaritans Aberdeen to to raise awareness for suicide prevention.

On the 24th of May we are taking on a 15 kilometre fun run along the railway line with a twist - challenging forfeits to incentivise donations..

A group of 11 friends are taking part in the randomised punishments, and we would love to see your support in attendance either across the 15 kilometres, or at checkpoints along the way.

Take a look at the image attached to find out exactly how the punishments will run, who is participating and what you can do to get involved.

*When donating, please mention the participant you would like to take on the punishment during the run.*

Thanks for your support.
