Notch is raising money for the Proud Trust - a Manchester-based charity that delivers youth work and one-to-one support to the LGBTQ+ community!

Supporting young people across the north-west and beyond through youth groups, mentoring programmes and more, The Proud Trust also works with and supports adults in trusted positions, including schools and other children’s services, helping them make spaces more LGBT+ inclusive as well as improving confidence in tackling discrimination and celebrating diversity.

Our goal is to raise enough money to support a full day (24 hours) of youth support this summer.

Some of my colleagues and I are doing a virtual marathon to raise money for The Proud Trust. Starting from Monday 15th July, we'll each be running a distance of 26.2 miles (or 42.2 km) over a 2.5 week period.

I'll be splitting this up into several runs along the canals of Manchester over the next two weeks. As a non-runner, the prospect of that many 5ks is somewhat daunting, so please donate what you can to help support the incredible work undertaken by The Proud Trust.
