Story
Trigger warning: this page contains mention of suicide and mental health loss.
In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in loving memory of my Dad, Dave.
My Dad struggled with his mental health, and in August 2022, after thieves took away what he had worked so hard his whole life for, I lost him to suicide.
Running is my way of taking back what they took from me and turning it into something meaningful. Raising funds and awareness I hope helps others and gives people a chance to get out of the dark.
I’m raising money for Mind, a charity that supports people when they’re at their lowest. They provide helplines, online support, local services, and they fight for better mental health care across the UK. These services matter. They save lives.
I am trying to raise as much money as possible to ensure that Mind can continue their important work in providing resources and assistance to those in need.
Whether you’re able to give a little or a lot, your support genuinely makes a difference.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, for donating if you can, and for helping to keep these essential services available to those who need them most. Really, my heartfelt thanks 🤍
If you or someone you love is struggling please know that support is available and you don’t have to face things alone.
