Story
Living with muscular dystrophy has taught me that every step matters. I am taking on the London Marathon to prove it does not define my limits. After pushing through the Lincoln 10K despite setbacks and doubt, I am determined to show what is possible with the right mindset and support.
I am not doing this alone. Esme is running for MDUK to raise vital funds, and we are joined by Nick Butter, the only person to have run a marathon in every country. His experience and motivation make this challenge even more meaningful as we run for something bigger than ourselves.
I live with the reality of muscular dystrophy every day and understand its impact on families. When the race gets tough I will keep going for those who cannot, for the children, the families, and the researchers working toward a cure. This is no longer just my journey, it is about making a difference together.
