Jamie's fundraiser for Road Victims Trust

London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·
On 30th October 2022 our loving sister Kelly was tragically killed in a hit and run.
Kelly was the most devoted mum to her 3 year old son. A caring wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. Kelly was a truly inspirational and kind person who was always putting others before herself. She is missed beyond words.
From that day onwards my family and I have all been supported by the Road Victims Trust (https://www.rvtrust.org.uk) The counselling provided by these dedicated professionals has been paramount during our time of unimaginable emotional crisis. Loosing Kelly has opened our eyes to the devastation left behind in road traffic incidents. When a driver doesn’t stop at the scene of a crime it can take up to 2 years for answers. Dealing with the trauma of the incident, the unimaginable loss and the unanswered questions, we don’t know where we would be without the support they have provided us.
On Sunday 21st April 2024 my sister Cassie and I will be taking part in the London Marathon, in memory of our sister Kelly. We hope to raise awareness and vital funds to help families who are going through the same. Five people in the UK die in road traffic accidents daily and we know only too well the devastation this leaves behind.
One moment in time changed our lives for ever. If you feel that you would like to support us and our family in raising funds for RVT, so they can continue their invaluable work by giving hope to others you can do so by donating on ourJustGiving page.
We are forever grateful of your support,
Jamie and Cassie x
