Gloucester Half Marathon & 10k 2024 · 31 March 2024 ·

#TeamSueRyder are taking on the 2024 Gloucester Half Marathon & 10k to raise money for Sue Ryder's expert end-of-life care and bereavement support.

Story

UPDATE: Lottie fell and broke her elbow whilst out running at the weekend and requires surgery. She will sadly not be able to run the Gloucester half but will find another half marathon to run as soon as she is back in action. Mike Pratt will be running with Sarah on the day. Thank you Mike for stepping in at such short notice to run alongside her in memory of Pete and for such a worthy cause 💙

We are running the Gloucester half marathon in memory of Pete, Sarah’s beloved husband, wonderful Daddy to Sienna, Felix and Lyla and dear friend to many. Pete spent time at Sue Ryder Leckhampton hospice where he was cared for with kindness, compassion and humour.

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.

Please donate whatever you can to our running efforts so we can make a difference to the wonderful work that Sue Ryder teams do, all over the UK.
