Story
In 2027, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for Friends of Reepham Primary School — a charity that means a lot to me and my family.
Three years ago, when I retired from the Armed Forces, my two boys and I moved to Reepham. It was a big change for all of us, but the staff at Reepham Primary School made a real effort to help my boys settle in, feel welcome and become part of the school community.
Since then, the school has been a place of happiness, friendship and great memories for both of them. I’ve seen first-hand the positive difference the school and its community can make, which is why I’d love to give something back.
Friends of Reepham Primary School helps fund the extra opportunities and experiences that enrich school life — from sport, outdoor learning and play to books, resources and activities beyond the classroom.
One of our hopes is to help raise funds towards a new outdoor play area at Reepham Primary School. This would give children a space to play, have fun, stay active and make happy memories with their friends for years to come. By supporting this project, we can help create something lasting that will benefit not only the children at the school today, but future generations of pupils too.
Running 26.2 miles will be a huge challenge, but knowing that every mile is helping a school that has given so much to my boys will make it all worthwhile.
If you can support me, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation, however big or small, will help create more opportunities and happy memories for the children of Reepham Primary School, both now and in the future.
Thank you for your support!
