On Saurday 6th June 2026, I completed my first ever 10k running event for Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

This is something that I was vigorously preparing and training for since the start of the year, upon completion of the event, I was hungry for more, to both run and raise money for good causes.

I jokingly suggested the idea of a marathon and after several runs and sessions since June, I've been getting better and better so let's start off light with a half-marathon in preperation for a full marathon next year!

As part of starting my new life in Lincoln and studying at the University, I wanted to do my part for the community and this is an extension of the vision.

I'm raising money for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, a charity that offers care, understanding and specialist support for children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one, improves the lives of people living with cancer and also funding life saving cancer research.

Many of us, have and unfortunately will experience cancer in our lifetime, whether it be ourselves or a loved one and I do not like the sound of that which is why I will be running and raising funds for such an important cause.
