Running all the tar roads in Ness · 31 August 2024

Bethesda provides 4 hospice beds for specialist palliative care and 30 long-term care home beds. It is required to raise over £470,000 per year to keep the hospice open and offers a much needed and caring service to those who are terminally ill and those who require nursing care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Bethesda Hospice is a very special charity that has cared for our loved ones, and many others in the community with outstanding kindness and compassion. Supporting families through difficult times, making sure patients are comfortable and safe throughout their time with them. In order for Bethesda to continue their care they need to fundraise over £450,000 per year.

On the 31st of August our challenge is to run all the tar roads in Ness totalling 36 miles with Murdo running the first 18 miles, before passing on to Rachel running the last 18 miles, with Murdo joining her at the end. We will be joined by Ness runners and Ness FC who will run along side us for parts of the way. The route has been planned out carefully making sure we don’t miss a road, finishing at the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse.

We would appreciate if you could help us raise funds to give something back to this charity to support them as they continue their remarkable care🤍
