Story
In 2026, I’ll be taking on Run Norwich in support of It's On The Ball
To be honest, this is completely out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do something that could help raise awareness for a charity that means a huge amount to me personally. 7 years ago, I went through testicular cancer. I had an operation to remove one of my testicles, followed up by a round of chemotherapy.
That’s why I’m passionate about helping spread the message and making sure as many people as possible know the signs and symptoms to look out for. Catching it early can make all the difference. After teaching Maths for the last 12 years, I now work full time for the It's On The Ball - Testicular Cancer Charity and spend the majority of my time in schools, colleges and businesses delivering awareness talks and also supporting patients and their families.
